The biggest thing to come out of the September 12 Apple "It's Showtime" announcement was suppose to be the long rumored Movie download part of the 'iTunes Music Store'. While the store was revamped and is now called the 'iTunes Store', the biggest thing to come out of the announcement was a product still in development called iTV. Apple has always been very reserved to leak any details of product development before CEO Steve Jobs takes the stage at an Apple Event and creates his "Reality Distortion Field", but this product seems to tie the whole concept of a digital download home together.

Microsoft has tried numerous times now to bring the content of your computer into the living room to your big screen plasma TV and 5.1 surround sound system, but every attempt they have made has failed because it just simply doesn't work in an easy manor for the common consumer. After all, Apple has taken products which have failed in the past and reinvented them to become very successful.
